The Journey of Century Polymers
Century Polymers was founded in 2004 in a modest 200 sq. ft. rented space, backed by Canara Bank’s working capital assistance. Despite facing significant financial challenges, including a major crisis in 2011, we persevered with the invaluable support of Canara Bank, Munroe Island, and by 2012, our growth path became clear.
Our expansion truly began in 2011 when we ventured beyond Kerala, participating in international exhibitions and securing a diverse clientele across India. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, centered around innovation and customer satisfaction. By 2017, we launched Century Polytech, our subsidiary, which attracted international customers and established us as a trusted supplier in the industry.
In 2023, we introduced breakthrough unbreakable transparent containers, specifically designed to endure the rigors of long-distance transportation. Today, 90% of our product range is unbreakable, with plans to expand this to all our offerings.
From our humble beginnings, we have evolved into a 21,800 sq. ft. facility equipped with cutting-edge Japanese and Taiwanese machinery, over 100 molds, and a highly skilled team. We directly employ over 100 staff and support more than 200 people indirectly through our operations. In 2022, we launched an in-house tool room and began using vacuum forming technology to further enhance our product range.
In recognition of our continuous innovation and growth, we were selected for Kerala’s prestigious Mission 1000 project, a testament to our impact on the industry.
